Invention made by chance part - I

There are various invention that made by mistakes but become most famous here are some of them.

1. Matchsticks

John Walker was working on a experimental paste and was mixing it with a wooden stick and soon a knot of paste was formed at the end. On trying to remove the knot, the wood caught fire and thus matchsticks were discovered.

2. Sticky notes 

Dr. Spencer silver was trying to invent a super stronge adhesive but also could be repositioned multiples time but the adhesive turned out to be weak. Later on when a colleague tried to use the glue along with a paper as a book mark, it turned out useful. Thus Glue found its use and sticky notes were discovered.

3. Coca Cola

John.S.pemberton was in search of a new recipe and he made a syrup which he later sold with water at a pharmacy shop. Once mistakenly a employee served it with carbonated water which turned out good and coca-cola was found.
